Gökçe Balcı (b. 1998, Istanbul) earned her BA from the Fine Arts Painting Department at Işık University. Currently based in Berlin, she is part of the Photography and Moving Images class at HGB Leipzig. Her work explores themes of intimacy, confession, social injustice and personal narratives, blending mediums such as photography, painting, and installation. Through her art, Balcı reveals the profound complexities of human experience, inviting viewers into a space where vulnerability fosters connection and understanding.
